Kho Phangan has many undeveloped remote
beachesand coves, some reachable by trekking over jungle paths or taking a boat.
There are loads of ways to move around on the island, you can hire a taxi for a small amount of money,or you are experienced enough you can hire a quad or motorcycle and do it in your own adgenda.
You can use the roads to HadRin, but we have warned you that the concrete roads are not in the greatest state and unless you are a confident motorcycle rider then do not attempt to get to HadRin, as nearly all accidents involving motorcycles happen in this area. Our advice is to leave your motorbike at the 7/11 at BanTai and pay approx 60 Baht for a pickup over the mountains to Haad Rin.
If you enjoy to eat then the
island has to offer a variety of places to eat, bars and cafes catering Thai, International, Western, Mexican and Mediterranean dishes, something to suit everyone. And naturally of it's location a large selection of fresh seafood which is locally caught.
